Tarra Bulga National Park
With its lush gullies, giant mountain ash trees and tree ferns, Tarra Bulga National Park is one of only four major areas of cool temperate rainforest in the state. A fun attraction includes the swinging bridge which you can bounce and rock!
Fishing Spots
Known as Fisherman’s Paradise South Gippsland has a plethora of fishing sports to discover. Start at Illawong Lodge where you are able to catch fish and crabs directly from the sea front-facing the accommodation. Within 5 minutes you will see plenty of fishing decks (as seen in the photo above) signalling that there are plenty of fish. A quick drive to Port Welshpool will greet you with a 800m long jetty built for fishing enthusiasts.
90 Mile Beach
One of the longest and most beautiful stretches of sand in the world. Perfect for a day out swimming, fishing, dolphin spotting or whale spotting. An iconic location of Gippsland.
Agnes Falls
Hidden within the green, rolling hills of the Strzelecki Ranges, the meandering Agnes River cascades from a 59m height over rocks into a deep picturesque gorge, forming Agnes Falls. Pack a picnic and birdwatch in this protected pocket of old forest and native bushland. Includes walking tracks for those who enjoy a bit of hiking.
